I like Chelsea a lot, but if you are working downtown, that may be too far. In that case, I'd suggest Nottingham or even Camden.

Nowhere, it's an artificially inflated area and a return on an investment there would be minimal. Outside of London would be the best place to live in London. How about Manhattan Island? It comes in at #2 on the list of ridiculous property costs behind London. Give your money to the poor and make a better home for yourself in eternity. Peace
