In Genesis, it never says that a day is 24 hours. A day could be a couple hundred million years, which would leave room for evolution to happen.

It strengthens the circumstantial case. We see more complex and sophisticated creatures existing as time goes on. This has led to the theory that the lesser life forms evolved, or changed, into the more complex ones. I understand that genetic studies have confirmed much of what one would expect to see if in fact evolution from one species to another were occurring.

But simply saying A existed, and then B existed, does not prove that A turned into B. Automobiles have become more complex since they were invented, but of course they didn't change themselves. They were designed, and built!

We *are* apes. The reason we're classed as apes is that there is no valid way to group all the other apes together that doesn't also apply to humans. In other words, whatever criteria you use to define what is an ape, in order to include chimpanzees, gorillas, orangs and gibbons, humans will also fit those criteria. Indeed, chimpanzees are more closely related to humans than to gorillas, and gorillas are more closely related to humans and chimpanzees than they are to orangs, so any classification that separated humans out from those other apes would not make any sense.

Most people think neanderthals were primitive humans and our ancestors, but even scientists say they were a seperate species that perhaps could breed with humans.

We have found many bones that seem to be 'snapshots' in evolution, but we have found no constant flow from one species to another.

If you plot a series of dots on a graph, it may appear to be a curve, but this is not necessarily true.

We were never apes. That's a misconception that creationists have fostered in order to make science "controversial". Apes and man DESCENDED from a common ancestor. When that ancestor existed there were no apes and no Homo Sapiens.

And no matter how much proof is furnished, we'll NEVER prove evolution to some people. They choose not to acknowledge anything that doesn't fit their world view. They hate science, because it involves PROOF, not faith.

Humans have never been apes. Humans evolved from an animal that apes evolved from. So maybe 2 billion years ago, there was a change or adaption from a species and one version branched out to eventually become the ape and the other branched out into becoming human.
