ladies have this issue of getting mad at each other if you buy something that they own...they take it sooooooo personal.dont wear it at work.!

I don't see how the single vs. married thing has any application to this circumstance.
Sure, wear it!
If you both happen to wear it on the same day, have a good laugh WITH your boss and move on.
No shame in wearing either a gift, or a '"very lovely shirt".

i would wear it. if you boss asks you just tell them you got it as a gift. not really a big deal....might be alittle werid if you wore it the same day though. i would wait to see when ur boss wears it next then you wear it a few days later...so u know they wont be wearing it again that week....hopefully !

Probably not. Not quite sure what marital status has to do with anything, I just don't like wearing the exact same thing as someone else.

okay okay i see where you are going with this he is one of thouse bosses that just flirt alot, and he gives you a shirt and you feel bad cuz the wife does not know and u think he is doing some thing bad, u feel guilty in a way, well i would say not to wear. my boss does the samething and i just ignore him dont worry girl just respect always remember that respect and if he keeps on buging just wuit show that u respect him and youreself!!!!!!!!

I personally would trash it... I entered my boss for what not to wear...... but if you like the shirt sure wear it.

What type of shirt is it, is there anything you can do to it to make it your own? like wear a pretty pin on it? just a suggestion, If it where me I would totaly wear but do something to make it diffrent.
