It's a male singing it, and he is talking about how he and his lover are flying or floating high above the ground, and they can hear the voices of people calling them back because they are too high or too far, but they feel those people just don't understand, so they will stay up there... yes, I know I have given you very little to work with but I heard this song on the radio about a month or two ago and have been listening for it ever since, with no luck. Does it ring a bell? Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm pretty sure it's "Such Great Heights" by The Postal Service. The chorus lyrics are "They will see us waving from such great heights, "come down now," they'll say. But everything looks perfect from far away. "Come down now," but we'll stay."
Their CD is called "Give UP" and it's one of my all-time favourite CDs.
