When ppl say George Best had the natural talent.
What exactly do they mean?

And when the scout sayed "I found a genius" referring to the then 16 yr old George Best, what did they see in him?

I need to know.

Is it speed, acceleration, flexibility, agility and balance combined with ability to run with the ball fast two-footedly while keeping it under close control?
And being able to concentrate.

I read that the scout saw George Best playing football on some dirty waste ground with his friends, a slim boy on thin legs was doing such incredible things with the ball, that it was obvious he was a genius. That means that a person just has football in his blood (if you can say that), knowing and feeling how to lead the game.

Well agilility, coordination, things like that are more of a you have or you don't. Then again like people see Eric Clapton play "Layla"
and they say he is a natural guitar player. They weren't there for all the lessons and practice he went through.

Many athletic talents can be transferred, simalar to learning one program language then it's easier to learn others. Once you've developed the logical way of thinking.

Yes, a "natural" usually has all or a lot of the qualities you mentioned above and quickly learns & excels in their sport. Football in particular could be speed, acceleration, size, strength, hands, field awareness, tackling, heart, etc.

its the things you can not teach a person like size and speed. i think the best example would be Bo Jackson. God have the the ability to not only be a strong, big, fast running back, but also the ability to hit a 95 MPH fastball.
