There is no way to get spyware from just coming to a Yahoo site.

The only sites that I have seen that can give spyware are ones that automatically begin to download extensions and then ask if it is ok. Someone who does not understand the question may allow it to run. I believe that some Java programs can cause problems so I don't allow Java to run. I have yet to have a problem with javascript.

You don't get spyware from coming to Yahoo sites. You are getting spyware from other sites you are visiting and clicking on links. Porn site are very bad at doing this. Especially the Free sites. Any site that offers something for free will, most likely, install some form of Spyware or adware on your computer.

it's just a tracking cookie and it doesn't pose threat to ur pc. It registers how many times u have viewed an advertisement and is put by the typical advertiser, not yahoo. Tracking cookies can be present anywhere and in any sites. The tracking cookie mostly seen in yahoo site is atdmt.com . Delete that cookie and scan again, u won't find it.

You only get spyware installed on your pc if you download stuff. I got it from napster a few years ago and recently from a guitar tabs site - just don't download stuff anf you'll not get it, but what's the point of the internet then

There is spyware on your computer or a trojan/virus.
You are not getting it from this site thats for sure.

Maybe you should stay off the porn for a while.

Try installing SpyBot search & destroy. Do a scan and it should be able to tell you what spyware you have and where it came from.

You don't get spyware from yahoo.

You probably went on to a different site that had spyware on it.
