They already established themselves (except for Lahm) in league championships, the champions league, and international games. Many of them were good when they were playing for youth teams. Like Ballack and Klose were already impressive in world cup 2002. Thuram was 1998 World Cup Champion. Marquez is one of the best defender of the world for a few years now. Buffon already won the gk of the year awards before the world cup. Riquelme, despite being a slow runner, had shown his dribbling and playmaking skills in Primera Liga. Zambrotta, Pirlo, Gattuso, and Cannavaro were also accomplished footballers in Europe already.

Gigi Buffon was impressive as he did a good job in keeping saving shots on the goal.
miroslav klose was impressive as he scored the most goals 5, for his team, Germany.
Fabio cannavaro was impressive because he was a good leader for the italian team and also a good defender.

Thuram is awesome because he plays for France. Ballack, Klose, and Lahm are pretty good too. the others are just a bunch of CHEATS!!!!!!!!!!!
