Interesting. Normally, I would say yes. I recently traded Kevin Jones in my league to the one team that was willing to take a risk on this overrated bust. Jones is running in the new offense controlled by Martz, who loves the air attack, so KJ's carries take a hit. He still has decent fantasy value, particularly in leagues that award points for receptions, because he should get about 5 or so catches each game.
However, I dont think either of these backs will be very productive this year. Lamont Jordan could be the better back because he is more physical and also has good hands and could be good for about 5 catches a game. But I watched both Oakland games this season and this team is absolutely horrible. Art Shell should be imprisoned for his incopetence as a football coach. Most importantly, Oaklands offensive line may be one of the worst in football history.
The key to this trade should be allowing yourself to make another trade afterwards. Kevin Jones is tough to unload because he has a horrible reputation as a failing back. Lamont Jordan is typically viewed as a star back playing for a horrible team that will likely have a few great games. With Jones, you may not receive any great weeks.
I would accept the trade, wait a few weeks, hope for Jordan to bounce back and post some impressive fantasy points, raise his stock, then sell him when he is high. I would imagine you may be able to trade Jordan for an even better upgrade in about two weeks. Perhaps Willis McGahee, or even Caddilac Williams. All these players are risky, but its usually beneficial to have big name players - especially for trades.
Good luck. I'd be interested to hear how you handle this.

Do the trade, and I'll tell ya why.......Lamont Jordan is a stud RB(be it the Raiders look pretty bad now) but they have a pretty soft schedule from here on out especially against bad run defenses which will go a long way in your playoff run toward the end of the year.

It may not be all that bad of a trade. Yeah, the Raiders have looked horrible, but you have to remember they played against 2 great defensive teams. They have Cleveland, San Fran, and Arizona coming up. Jordan could do some damage against those squads. This trade is really more a matter of preference

Not a chance. Oakland doesn't have a passing game to take the heat off their RB. His whole season is going down the tubes.
Detroit is surprising everyone with their improved play and Jones will wind up with a decent year, better than Jordans.

I liked Jordan a lot and was happy to see him get out of Martiins Shadow, however Oak is soo mad that all opposing defenses have to worry about is Jordan. They are just too one dimensional.
I might counteroffer and try to pick up a #2 WR instead

Lamont was great as a Jet. However, Oakland just s*cks sooooooooo bad that its tough to take him. Their QB situation is bad and teams will key on Jordan.
Deal or no deal?
No deal.

No way. Okland is not a great offensive team. Look for Jones to pick it up as the season progresses.

I agree with the majority of people who have said NO. I don't think he'll have a good year at all.
