Spend a few hours together at least. You need time to get to know someone. Me & my boyfriend went to dinner & a movie on our first date...7 years ago. This is a good idea because it gives you a chance to talk, but then you can just watch the movie if you have nothing to say. Have a great date!

There is no set time, you just have to feel it out. My husband and I on our first date spent about 6 or 7 hours together and went to 3 different places. We could've just stayed at the 1st then called it a night, but it "felt" right to do more together on that 1st date. The next morning and day, we spent about 7 more hours together. We went 3 different places again. It was the beginning of "inseparable."

I don't think there's a way to judge that bafore hand. You don't want to set a time limit of 20 mins and be having a great time... same goes for you wouldn't want to set an hour time limit and be wanting to leave after 2 mins!

Just flow with the moments and figure it out as you go!

Even if the 1st encounter is great, make sure you date long enough to know her. First impressions can be deceiving. It takes time to get to know someone. But, if you don't click, just look at it as a numbers game.

My fisrt date with my husband was for about 4hrs. It really all depends on if your having a good time with good conversation. The more comfortable you both are with each other the longer the date will last.

A nice intimate restaurant always does the trick. Then if things go well you can stop off at a local water whole for a night cap....and ahhh...*wink wink* if things go even better back to your place. So try to keep the restaurant and bar/club/lounge in the vicinity of your place! :)

Go for a drink first then if you get on you can suggest Dinner. If not you can make an excuse that youve got something else you should be doing.

Best thing to do is meet for lunch first that way if she isn't cool you only have to stay an hour, if she is fine make it a day
