Having him evaluated by a doctor should be your first course of action. If his snoring includes sleep apnea, it can have serious effects on his health.
If a doctor determines that your husband's snoring isn't causing any health problems (other than your lack of sleep), you might try Breath Right nose strips (http://www.breatheright.com). They are available in most stores, at online pharmacies, and at Amazon. I have terrible hayfever, which causes me to be a noisy sleeper during the summer. I won't sleep without my nose strip! If I forget to put one on, I wake up with my mouth dried out (from being open so I can breathe), and I'm tired all the next day.

Hi I'm Isabeth... I have had this problem with my husband and trust me it isnt easy getting him to stop. but there are ways. set up a humidifier next to the bed on his side... and try the throat spray for him. Or if he isnt willing to do any of those things casue he doesnt beleive that he snores...yes i know my hubby thought he didnt snore too...lol.... but you could always take a mild sleeping pill to get you to sleep...like a advil pm...nothing to strong cause we dont want you addicted to them but a mild one should work. hope this is some help.

There are two choices pretty much in your case. Have him seen by a medical doctor soon because sometimes it can be a sign of a serious medical problem. In addition, there are some custom devices that your doctor can order to help him with his snoring problem. However, there are some remedies that can be located at your local pharmacy that are pretty affordable.

My husband snored so bad that he went and had that surgery on his nose to open up his nasal passages. Well he didn't snore for about 2 months and then it came right back. So now he is back on the couch.

Push him off the bed every time he starts to snore. You can try the sprays and all that garbage, but it usually dosen't work that well. What I try and do with my wife (she snores) I try and go to sleep before she does. If I can fall asleep before her, her snoring rarely wakes me up. But if she starts snoring before I get to bed I will never fall asleep without having her roll over or waking her up.

Well, my wife also complains that because of my snoring. But I understand that there is homeopathic treatment for snoring. I am yet to consult a Homeo Dr.
