i suppose it depends of the size of the bird! if you have a teeny little bird when there are fat (and so potentially slow) ones in the bush, i say calculate your chances and go for it if possible.

afterall, sometimes one has to take risks to move forward. if everyone's satisfied with what they already have and do not think it's worthier to improve, we probably won't be where we are now.

If you're into threesomes, all you've to do is show yo' thang and the two birds will get hard and be knocking at yo' door... then again, if they were doing something in the bush, they're probably gay anyway... I'd say, it's safer to just finish the bird on your hand (and watch your eyes, 'cause it WILL spit), and if you're still hungry for more, go to the two in the bush and open wide.

Yes beacuse then you have at least one more bird than if they were in the bush. If they are in the bush than it is more than likely you will not be able to catch even one of the birds.

I hadn't thought about it, but if you factor in inflation, and if you have appreciable equity in the bird you're holding, It's likely the one in your hand is worth more that two in the bush.

Absolutely...You have the bird...You may not get the 2 in the bush.

So if you were to let go of the 1 you have in favour of the 2 you could have....You may end up with nothing.

I think the person who quoted that just gave up and tried to rationalize his fate. If everyone thought like that there would be no progress and no one would take chances to better themselves or anything else. We'd be a bunch of loosers.
