The government will not arrest the Pope. However, the general populace will conduct demonstrations, some of which may become violent. Christians will be dragged out of their homes and beaten by hordes of Muslims fanatics. This will all be blamed on the Pope's lack of sensitivity. The "good" Muslims will tell the western press that the actions of a few should not be detract from image of Islam as a peaceful religion.

He will not be arrested and its doubtful that he will even go there now.
You can't bash 1.5 billion people systematically and expect to go to a predominately Muslim country and expect roses, sorry.

I do not believe so, Turkey is a country of freedom and you can come in and out as you please regardless of religion, color or gender. However, Muslims fundamentalist are more concentrated in the east part of Turkey, which would frond at his visit, but the west would love it.
