You can do it from a command prompt (meaning in DOS)
Start > Run
Type in: cmd
Type in: dir>filename.txt (where filename is the name you really want to call the file)
Enter
It will create a text file what the directory in it

Hi

I have and use printfolder it is freeware you can get it here
http://no-nonsense-software.com/freeware/ do not click on the top printfolderpro instead scroll down to the bottom and select printfolder regular it is free and does what your wanting!

p.s. After you install it just right click on a folder and select printfolder you can then uncheck date, filesize etc so it just shows the file names of the directory then print or save as a txt file.

hoped i've helped.

Here ya go. This works when you right click on a folder and then click Send to - send it to Printdir.bat. It will automatically print a list of the files and folders within the folder to your printer.

Copy the below to a new text and name it printdir.bat and then place that file in c:\documents and settings\'user name'\sendto

@dir %1 /-p /o:gn > "%temp%\dir.txt"
@notepad /p "%temp%\dir.txt"

right here is how i could do it, yet i'm a UNIX guy so i like the command line. Open a command window (it extremely is under 'upload-ons generally) Navigate to the itemizing ('cd /foo/ba' case in point) form here: dir >records.txt close the command window (use 'go out' command) Open the records.txt with be conscious or despite.
