Hardly. With programs like Ares, and the fact that it goes to individual computers without a central storage, it is here to stay and will be enhanced over what we see now.

Ever heard about Groove? Its a P2P office tool that was purchased by Microsoft in 2005. Goes to show you that P2P is actually moving in the corporate business as it does offer some interesting communications features.

Pirate P2P will however always exist. There's barely any technological way of stopping it.

it takes months if not years to shut 1 p2p site down so i think they'll be here for a while yet
