yes, i have. but almost never. but once i didnt know all the facts about a certain issue, and i made an opinion based on my ignorance of the subject, but once i learned more about it, i formed a very strong opinion that was completely different from the opinion i originally took.

I try to educate myself on an issue before I really make a decision. That reduces the amount of times I change my opinion.. My most controversial opinion? That's a tough one. Probably that I think American Idol is like the worst show ever.

Growing up during the cold war, I bought into a lot of the so called facts associated with nuclear proliferation. Now, I am glad as hell the US has the best nukes. The whole issue is rich in history and has evolved the way it has for a reason, including our decision to use them on Japan.

Yes, it seems reasonable that as one gains knowledge and experience, one's opinions may change as well.
I used to be a stong supporter of long prison sentences for non-violent crimes. After working in a prison, I see that long setences leave little change for a person to have the opportunity to develop a positve and productive life.

Yes. Keeping an open mind will bring that about. A new piece of evidence that shows the fallacies of other info used can make that necessary.
It is important to keep vigil over the accuracy of data in ones colloidal computer. ;-)

I will listen to other peoples opinions and weigh the pro's and con's of there views, but very seldom , unless there is something really concrete where I have been proven wrong will I change my opinion. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it..

yes. i was once prochoice and now i'm not. i'm not PRO LIFE. I would never bomb abortion clinics or kill the doctors, but i believe abortion should only be a last resort now.
if there is something that will kill the mother or child or whatever, then perhaps it is more acceptable to me - morally
