Your reproductive system is in good condition. The doctor did not consider doing blood test as he put his trust in you, having it done with negative results, otherwise he should have done it for safety/legal reasons. By doing transvaginal sonography, not only the condition of your reproductive is being assessed but it will also give a definite answer if there is any pregnancy, whether inside the uterus( intrauterine) or outside (extrauterine or ectopic). In your time being 2 months delayed, having an ectopic one is the highest source of concern. After having ultrasound and everything seems good then there is nothing to worry for the meantime, you are experiencing some hormonal imbalance perhaps. If still your periods do not come in months to come then you need to find out the real cause and you need to discuss it with your doctor.

i've got had 2 Transvaginal Ultrasounds...if it is an identical component and to tell you the fact, i could extremely have a sort of than a pap smear. completely painless. the 1st section is executed with an entire bladder. They positioned a clean substance on your pelvic section and run the ultrasound wand over your pelvis to get a miles better image of what occurring in that area. the 2d section is executed with an empty bladder and that they actually insert a wand into your vagina for extra or less 5 minutes at diverse angles to get a closer view of whats occurring on your pelvis. The wand is slightly better than a tampon, so it would not harm in any respect. purely somewhat awkward and uncomfortable, yet truthfully no longer discomfort.

I agree with the other answerer: you are not pregnant and everything looks good.
What you doctor did was confirm the home tests and let you know that your reproductive tract is normal, so that you should have no problem getting pregnant. He probably didn't want to do a blood test because you seem desperate to be pregnant and this killed two birds with one stone.
Good luck TTC!!

It means that the ultrasound didn't find any pregnancy, and that your organs are normal and healthy. I've had several of these done for various reasons, and I was at the Radiology department for my externship in college. I watched a LOT of these done. So back to the drawing board and good luck!

You either need to go back to your doc and tell them you want the blood test & info given in lamens terms or find a new doc. You are not obligated to stay w/ a doc who will not explain things to you or listen to req as long as they are not abnormal. You are paying him to not him paying you. You are putting your health & well being in this persons hands & experience. My doctor talked with me for over an hour before even examining me to get al family history & info in myself & partner.
Good luck to you

I think you should get a new doctor if that doctor refused to give you a blood pregnancy test.
