I have Corey Dillon (RB NE) and Chester Taylor (RB MIN) starting this Sunday... with Joseph Addai (RB IND) and Kevin Jones (RB DET) on the bench... my question isn't about who I should start, it's who I should replace between Dillon, Taylor, and Addai??? (Their bye weeks are all the same so I have to get a replacement for one for week 6.)

All 3 I'm choosing between to replace are starters too... at least for Addai the Colts are using him more than Rhodes as their #1 guy so pretty much all 3 are starters.

I can't cut Kevin Jones, his bye is week 8 and he's at least a starter aside from his production so far this season.

Definitely wait till you get through week 5. Kevin Jones is probably the worst out of that whole group anyway and you'll need him that week. Check the waiver wires and watch for injuries. Look for the Turners in San Diego, or Ron Dayne's in Houston. I've won leagues just because I was able to pick up a great backup running back after the number 1 guy went down to injury.

As one of the other responders answered, I would wait until you absolutely have to make the decision. You never know who will become injured and/or another free agent RB will step it up on another team.
If the situation remains the same, then I would dump Jones. The primary reason for this is that Detroits offense is not the 1999-2001 Rams as some predicted it would become when Mike Martz took over as offensive coordinator. Thus Jones is not Faulk. The Lions are going to be behind in games and will need to use the pass to succeed, thus Jones loses carries.
Both Taylor and Addai have shown they are strong backs who can produce. This is especially true with Taylor in Minnesota. He seems to complement Brad Johnson well, much like Warrick Dunn did on the Tampa Bay Bucs Super Bowl winning team that included Brad Johnson.
Dillon will be splitting carries all season with Maroney, but Belichik likes to use ALL his players, so Dillon will get touches and may get more touches near the goalline as Maroney takes the the grunt work of running the ball from endline to endline.
Good luck -- don't forget about Gado who was traded to the Houston Texans. I'll bet he's there starter in a couple of weeks. Don't know when the Texans bye week is, but he'd be a nice temporary pickup.

Definitely play Taylor, who's the undisputed starter for Minnesota and gets most of their rushing carries and who's been playing well so far this year. Definitely do not play Dillon, who's been questionable all year and has yet to break 100 yards of rushing in a game. That's not likely to change this week, against Miami's defense. Your second pick is your question mark. I'd go with Jones, even though I consider him and Addai about even, only because Jones is the main guy in Detroit, and should definitely play the entire game. Addai and Dominic Rhodes are being platooned in Indianapolis' backfield, and whichever guy gets hot early usually gets the bulk of the carries in the second half. If this was my roster, I wouldn't like that 50/50 chance that that might wind up being Dominic Rhodes, with Addai winding up on the bench.

Dillon is still a viable option as a starter, but he's losing more and more carries to Maroney, who has all the makings of a fantasy stud.
Taylor is pretty good on a so-so team. But watch them really improve before the end of the season. Translation: he's not going to get you a lot of point over the season.
Addai is definitely being groomed to be the starter for INDY.
I'd pull the trigger on Taylor. Unless Maroney is out there for you to take. You don't two RB's from the same NFL team on your roster.

I can see corey dillon breaking down this season, and maroney stepping up his game and getting most of the carries. Taylor and Addai are also upbeat rookies that should stay healthy and also get the bulk of the carries for their team. I say get rid of Dillon just for the fact that he may not get enough touches. I know his name carries weight for what he has done in the past, but if you look ahead, Taylor and Addai will be more productive from here on out.
