i am trying to listen to a radio station from back home, we used to do this at work all the time i just cant remember how.

you can use a program such as Windows Media player to stream the broadcast. If you go to the station's web page, there should be a link for the streaming audio. Most sites have the above mentioned Windows format and some stations also have a real player stream.

Alot of radio stations have their own websites with streaming audio. Like 94.1 wysp in Philadelphia. My suggestion would be to look up the call numbers of the station your looking for to see if they have a site of their own.

get winamp from winamp.com, then they have a list of stations all around the world. Got tv also.
