Oh yes I do...
It is directly linked to our memories... Many times just tu smell out of restaurant, I have got the pictures in my mind of mom in the kitchen, or of a christmas party, or many different events from the past that instantly came by smelling a grill, a perfume or so...

No there are lots of smells that take me back. The smell of cut hay,furniture polish, my deceased husbands cologne, charcoal;these are just a few of the things that spark nostalgia for me.

The olfactory system, the apparatus responsible for our sense of smell, has a pathway in the brain closely associated with the limbic system. The limbic system contains the amygdala and the hippocampus parts of the brain which are closely associated with emotion and memory respectively.
Human beings tend to emphasise vision over all other senses, but our sense of smell is important enough to evoke its own form of déjà vu. Perhaps the foul and strange smells we experience today will be associated with fond memories in years to come.

The smell of PM break of day. :D Chloe body spray - cuddles with my mum Nettles and reduce grass - lengthy days playing interior the fields %. rabanne, martini and leather-depending - my dad domicile from artwork. one of those massive volume of smells i ought to record all day, yet they are the important ones. When I go for walks in my neighborhood, me & my girl always have our noses up in the air smelling....The best is when you pass someones house & they are having a barbeque picnic with lots of people. Both me & her feel our plates up very incospicuously, eat, gossip about people we don't know so that we fit in & run! Hey, we get our bellies full!
