Why don't you see your doctor? Tissues dehydration can be fatal. the medical officer will examine your electrolyte level and check for any abnormality presence in its chemical contents. For the time being, drink something likes 100 plus.it can rehydrate you faster than pure water.

I do not know any tests to test how hydrated a person is. But i have some suggestions to help improve the dry feel.

1) Take Vit A & C rich fruits like cranberries, oranges, peaches and strawberries.

2) Drink more plain water. Sip your water. Not gulping it down your throat.

3) Use a good body cream. Personally i like Bodyshop's.

4) Almost forgot about this one.. Take some fats. Like chicken skin, pork belly.

Try these and tell me if you see any improvement on your skin.

our body needs one ounce of water per each pound if body weight a day to stay fully hydrated. At this level of hydration you will void urine about every ten minutes. a complication may be a flushing of sodium and potasium. which the body needs at one part sodium to two parts potasium. that is how they came up with sports drinks...unfortunately most of these have sugars we don't need. pedialite a baby subliment is a good one...or you could just start taking potasium subiments. usually we get enough sodium everyday.

From your name, I see you have allergies. You could also possibly be suffering from a bacterial infection in your intestines. Drink plenty of water! Dehydration can be fatal and is the primary cause of death in diseases like cholera. Replenish your vitamins and minerals as well. If this persists more than a day, please see a doctor. For your own safety. I'll be praying for you!
