You can also trying do the Ad-aware and Spybot in Safe Mode. Sometimes if the spyware is actually loaded at the time you run it, the cleaners can not remove it. By booting your PC in Safe Mode you prevent anything by the minimum files needed to load Window from loading.

To get into Safe Mode, repeatedly press the F8 key during boot up until you get the screen with the Safe Mode option.
Run both cleaners, and then reboot to get back into Normal Mode

If that does not work, try the msconfig utility
Click on Start, then Run
Type in: msconfig
Select the Startup tab from the window that opens
Listed are all the programs that are being started in the background when you boot your PC. Bargain Buddy should be listed among them. (You may have to guess a little which one it is. Sometimes the filenames are not clear). Uncheck it and it will no longer load. (If you uncheck the wrong thing by mistake, just go back and recheck. Nothing you uncheck can harm your computer.)

Good luck

I can't talk specifically about bargain buddy, but I do suggest you acquire 1 other free spyware chaser: Microsoft Defender

Good Luck

PS. I am so envious that you have 26% Best Answer ratio. Congratulations !! I'm struggling to improve my 6%, but I think I tell it too much like it is and some people don't like to face reality. Like the one with the navel piercing that got infected. My lead-in "YOU BIG DUMMY" doesn't always work well.

All the advise above are good; it may work.
I had the same problem. But I removed it by doing the following:

Start ->Run-> type in msconfig. It will bring up a dialogue box. Choose Startup tab. Locate the loader that starts Bargainbuddy when the computer starts. Click off on the check box.

Windows will ask you to reboot. Restart. Your unwanted program will not load.

Hope this helps.

Well, no answers, except one is so far right. I've had previous experience with bargain buddy. Scan with watever software u've got, especially adaware in windows safe mode (press F8 repeatedly during windows startup) and scan. You'll be able to remove bargainbuddy certainly. It won't come up again. In windows safe mode, bargain buddy will not be able to conceal itself, as only minimum required things will be loaded.

It's possible you still have something that is causing it to get reinstalled.

You might want to get a program called Hijack This!

it will allow you to see what's running on your computer and where it's running from.

Some things are important - if you don't know what it is don't tell Hijack This! to fix it. It doesn't know good from bad.
Usually you can look it up online to find out what it is.

If you need help trying to figure out what one of the files are you can send me an email and I'll help.

Look for spybot Install and update Run until it does not find anything.

Install HijackTHIS. Run and save a log file and post at http://www.castlecops.com/f67-hijackthis...
Lots of good people who will help you go through the log and get rid of the bad stuff. Don't remove stuff your self because some of this is good..

Zone Alarm - Works to help fight some of the autodownloaders that can and will mess up your system.

Try Microsofts Live one scan
or Window Defender beta 2
What it is there is another program that is reloading it in your start-up files. Hi-jack this should be able to find. Try to look at program you downloaded recently or can redownload and delete them. I had the same problem once and got rid of it. Try a online scan from Panda antivirus and see if they can reconize which program is reloading at start-up... In window defender you can pick and chose which program get to start-up at start-up so if there is one that is reloading it can stop it by disabling it...Good luck.

TRY THIS
go to start-run and type msconfig
go to the startup tab and find the bargain buddy program. if it is in there, unselect it and the next time you start up it shouldnt start automatically and then delete it.

I hope that works
