Trust and safely issues. You're not faulting anyone for taking that into consideration, are you?

You have set a standard for yourself by doing something wrong and people are afraid that if they hire you, you will flip out or steal from them. Not to worry. Once you get a couple of jobs under your belt and a couple of good references, you'll be good to go.
I'd hire an ex-con if he had a good work history and great references. It also depends on the offense. The employers might just be anal and closed-minded.
Illegal immigrants get jobs. I'm sure that you can too.

Well, ex-offender or not, it is not easy to get a good job.
It takes a bit of faith and patience to get that job. Good luck.

Let's see there are two applicants for this job. One has been in jail, one has not...who to choose? Hmmmm?
One can spell, one can't. Hmmm?
Ex-offender.

People believe if you did it once you may do it again, and they want no part of it.
