All fun a side. If her spending is out of control you have two choices. 1- give a monthly spending limit and let her know that if she goes over it she will be responsible for the overages or let her know that it is for emergencies and let her know that shoes or dresses on sale is not an emergency.. 2- some credit card companies have it where you can fix it where all purchase have to be authorized by the primary card holder. 3- take it away.

Lol...that's funny. Why don't you just take the credit card out of her wallet before she leaves for the store? And slip in a certain amount of cash, that way she can't go over the limit!
