remove the battery from the phone and lay both out to dry...don't use the phone or turn it on until both are completely dry. Keep them away from sunlight while drying.
The phone may not be ruined, but it for sure has water damage now.
I did this to my phone and it still worked, but often would have glitches and would call people at random.

It might be ruined. It might not be. A buddy dropped his in a lake, pulled it out, removed the battery and let it set in a warm dry place (right next to a furnace vent) for about 4 days and it worked. On the other hand, I dropped mine in the dogs water dish, did the same thing, but it never worked again.
All I can say is, "Good luck!" :)

it may not necessarily be ruined, take the battery and the sim card out and put it over a vent for about a day to slowly dry it out. my little girl put mine into a glass of water and this is what i did to make it work. don't try to dry it too fast, my boss had water in his and tried to dry it in an oven at 250 degrees. it fried it!!! lol

i had a friend who did the exact same thing and he got it out of the pool quickly, removed the battery from the back and stood it so the water would run out. it worked fine afterwards but i think he was just quick and lucky as most are ruined.

Buh-bye cell-phone. If you get the battery out of it (which you'll more than likely have to replace) it might work after drying it out for 48 hours ...BUT...it won't work for long..

My best friend dropped hers in a toilet at a club. Take the battery off of it and use a hair dryer. Still works.
