Well la de da the main topic here is school, education and a chance to make something of your life.
Education does not mean going to chat rooms, games or smut links, get a grip there is only one reason kids are in school is to get an education and become a contributer in todays society.
The kid stuff can wait until school lets out, providing all homework is done,
Unless you have plans to push burgers, buss tables or
work at wallmart as a greeter. and have menial jobs the rest of your life

If you are at school, you should be studying or doing school work. So yes, teachers and schools should ban websites that children don't need when they are at school. Myspace, bebo, and other websites like that can be viewed at home on your own time.

Um, yes.
Why is that hard to understand?
People like me get money stolen from their paychecks by the government to pay for your internet connection at school.
I'll be d-mned if you're gonna waste my money chatting about nothing all day.
Oh yeah - also - you're never going to have any nice cars or any real bling if you don't learn anything in school. Making a living is a lot harder now than it was for your parents.

You are in school to learn not to socialize. My space is not teaching you anything but what your best friends fav song is. Just be glad that you have the ability to get on a computer, some schools couldn't even imagine having them.

No.
But let me explain.
Teachers already have enough to worry about. You put this repsonsibility on the teacher it is one more thing that they have to do. I'd rather the teacher only have to worry about teaching.
If schools are going to provide Internet Access then that school should hire staffing to monitor and block sites with non-educational resources.
This is a very difficult taks in itslef, there are always ways around and creates a fulltime job for a knowledgeable person.
Let's not waste our Teacher's time with this.
