NO. NO. NO.

I can think of very few cases in which locking children in padded rooms would be acceptable and strapping a child in a chair--------just no. the child would have to be acting out extremely violently and be out of control. Is he institutionalized?

You must contact an advocate for the disabled right away. I don't know what state you are in but you can search on the web. Also, contact your state's education department.

Oh wait a min..there has to be more to this than you're saying. Is he a challenged child? Emotional issues?

If you're speaking of a kid throwing spit wads being locked in a room, then I think you need to check your State's regulations of child conduct and corporal punishment. The State Dept of Child Services will be glad to help you.

You've been reported for repeated postings. I'm beginning to think that YOU need to be in a padded room.

Stop playing on the computer and teach your kid some manners already. No wonder he gets locked in a room, with you as his parent.

Can you stop posting this question???? It's really getting annoying.

I have an idea. How about instead of wasting time asking stupid questions on here, you get off your pc and concentrate on teaching your child how to get along with other people?

Look at the cause, instead of the effect, lady. If he is constrained that severely he is probably a danger to himself or others.
