In Homeopathy the treatment for most allergies starts with the remedy SULFUR and 30 is the best potency to start with after Sulfur we have to take it step by step according to the symptoms which develop with the use of SULFUR which is in it self quite sufficient to cure allergic reactions solely on its own. In your child's case just once a day first thing in the morning for about three days will be enough. Report back with the child's progress every day if you can while giving him the homeopathic remedy.
Continue with the use of HONEY which is nothing short of a miracle treatment for more or less all sorts of disease and disorders and has infinite curative powers to cure on its own. KALONJI(Blackseed) and its OIL are known to cure all sorts of allergies and I have found them extremely benficial in treating infants and children without any side effects or complications it not only cured them of their allergies it greatly improved their general health too.
Take Care and God Bless

As a person with severe allergies, I think that most homeopathic remedies involve plant extracts and such. Personally, I am allergic to most of that kind of stuff. It might be dangerous to use anything you are unfamiliar with. I would at least consult an allergist before using any herbal or homeopathic products.

The worst possible think would be anaphylactic shock (sp?) and you could die within minutes if not treated.

They also say that having an environment that is TOO clean can lead to allergies later in life, but if they already exist then I don't know if that matters much.

Allergy shots could help. They are fairly natural things in the serum, but I don't know if it would be appropriate for a 15 mo old.

You are absolutely not overreacting at ALL! I am appaled that the daycare center is taking it so lightly saying 'sooner or later she will bite another child too' and 'oh no big deal, it's common at this age'.... I totally agree that if the children were being PROPERLY supervised, this would not happen. And I'm pretty sure they HAVE to tell you which other child is biting yours in the accident report. I was bit on the cheek in a daycare when I was a toddler and as a result of that I now always test positive for TB! I don't HAVE TB but I carry it. The daycare blew my parents off about it as well so they switched me to a new daycare where I never ahd another incident like that. And if it's the same child who is biting your daughter, they should be asking the parent's of that child to make other arrangements. Your child did nothing wrong in this case, although if I were you I would want to remove her from that center regardless.

Hi!
The best way to go about it is to consult with a Homeopath.

Homeopathy is not something you can prescribe over the internet for chronic cases. The totality of the symptoms have to be taken into consideration and the child as well as the parents medical history has to be taken into account.

Children react well to homeopathic remedies, you should try to find a good Homeopath in your area. No respectable Homeopath will give you remedies over the internet, as this can be dangerous to the child. In Homeopathy we have what we call aggravations and wrong dilutions or wrongly choosen remedies can produce painful reactions you would not want to put your little one through.

Well chosen remedies by an experienced person will cure him, homeopathy works wonders for allergies.

Look for a Homeopathic Association in your area and ask for a referral. Make sure you check the person's credentials first.

Good luck with your little one.

The hyper or histamine response the child is having could be due to more than just allergies. There is a weakness in his system. The honey is a good source of aminos but I have never seen it do anything for allergies. The no wheat diet is a good start even if he isnt allergic to it. Remember to, that hypoallergenic doesn't necessarily mean that it improves his "vital force" or "chi" so that his system can handle these things. Did either one of the parents smoke? Or do they have allergies? Concerning a good Homeopathic rx. for allergies, I would visit a Homeopath instead of trying to solve it yourself. If you email me privately I may know a good Classical practitioner in your area.

Why not just give him a prescription for allergies. Claritan works real well.
