failure means you tried something. but the real measure and stepping stone to success is hardwork and patience. failure can be a source for learning. dont take failure as failure but a source of fun and learning experience. goodluck!

You can not live a lifetime without failure of some kind but it is not the failure that counts but what you have learned from it. If your lesson is positive you will beome better for it if not you will ultimtely repeat it in one way or the other. It is important in life to fail but it is like falling down, don't let someone else pick you up do it yourself, lift up your head and continue your journey.

Hi -
I believe this means that:
a) failure is a part of life and
b) If you learn from your failure(s), then you have created a "stepping stone" to sucess.
Other similar sayings: "choosing the right path..." can mean success or failure, "attitude determines altitude", "try, try again...", etc.
I personally, have never heard of a person who has NOT failed, at least once in their life. Many of our best and brightest scientists failed innumerable times. Look at Einstein - failed math, or Edison - took him thousands of "prototypes" before he invented a light bulb that worked!
Don't give up, keep trying!!
:)

failure can absolutely be the stepping stone to success because when u make mistakes, u are willing to do that thing until u got it correctly learning from ur mistakes. when u make failures, they serve as guide to u that u don;t have to do the same action and think of a new move so that u'l succeed. :)

A failure would tell you what you did wrong. That way you will be able to correct the wrong doing and go on to success. Supposedly failures also help you become more empathetic to other people and that helps you in life and in your work.

It is not the failure itself, but the knowledge you acquire having failed. The assumption is that if you fail, you learn from your mistakes so that you do not commit the same mistakes again. Each successive attempt will lead you closer and closer to success because you will have learned what not to do.

A failure is experience, if one fails and keeps trying they know not to do that last thing again because it doesn't work. As long as they keep trying to do better you learn how to be successful.

Failure teaches you more than success. If you fail, you'll learn from it and likely not make the same mistake. Failure builds character so you can handle success when you achieve it.
