I'd go with some extra memory, no matter what you're doing with your computer, an extra gig of memory is only about 135 and is well worth it. the power supply is an over kill unless you plan on upgrading two the quad core in november. a duel core really doesn't need that kind of power. However, the quad core will be available in 6 months top, but the mainboard will have to be changed too. may as well get the 1100 w so it'll be one less thing you'll have to buy then. good luck and trust me, get the extra memory.

a 700w would serve your purposes for almost anything you can think of, but the price difference wouldn't be much, considering upgradability. for the record, no one has found one single application *yet* that needs that kind of power supply, just some food for thought.

WOW, DUDE!!! That computer is gonna cost u loads of cash. I recommend that you do some research on the internet first. If you are not PC Savvy, then just buy mediocore parts. When you are more experience in computers, then only start upgrading. The parts that your pal recommended are really for HARDCORE gamers. And 1 more thing, yup, the power supply is unecessary. You only need a minimum power supply. Around 400 W.

jesus...1100 w power supply? That has to be a typo you don't need that especially with that video card. The max you might need is 700 watts, careful tho cuz those cards get HOT, be sure to wire it right.
