seriously if it is the battery, when you get home tonight put it in the freezer for a few hours like 2 or 3 and then take it out and thaw it and it will hold power longer. But as far as the magnets hurting your phone i don't think so.
i am asking my sis who works at Cingular now...
she said no, so it prob is just your battery.

If you have a slider phone if you get the magnets close enough the phone senses it and thinks you're telling it to open. I had this happen on my slider when I accidentally got it to close to the magnets on my fridge. Yea I thought it was a little strange too. Try it.

No they don't have any impact on your phone or its battery. Your battery is probably just near the end of its useful life and is not taking a full charge anymore.
