it is a difficult thing to take student for a trip via train but it will be enjoyable..
good thing is u can contact a tour operator, they will help u but dont think they will conduct the trip through train because there are only few authorised to take bulk ticket..
they will be booking 02 coachs. .
and also for hotel bookings u can contact them.
u can get spl rates in the hotel...

Parasuram express running from Mangalore to Trivandrum via Cochin will be best choice and you can book a coach by contacting station reservation supervisor by deposting a full coach fare to him by doing this you will not get student concession better go and ask a group ticket for student and get reservation in that train

there is direct train service from mangalore running cochin. Parasuram Express, is one like that. a new train from Mangalore to trivandrum is also introduced now. i think Parasuram express running from Mangalore to Trivandrum via Cochin will be suitable for you. You can also purchase tickets in advance.

hello
if you are particular to take the trip by train ..you should first contact the railway station master and arrange a group booking for the train tickets.. this way you will get reservations and you can also avail students railway discounts..
but let me tell you ,,to so the tour once you are in cochin you will need transportation and you will have to arrange it in kochi .
what age are the students ? and when are you planning to go?
yu may need two buses in kochi to take them around...
train is good to travel from mangalore to kochi.. but the tour itself you need buses in kochi which can be expensive (if you are booking them only for the town)

Hi, i can help you 1st contact station master at ur local rail station , obtain availability of seats in train from him..then only u will be able to book hotel and tours for students....u can book hotel n train at discounted rates.
