Pecentage is in 100, to find out how much percent A takes out of B, put them in a fraction and multiply by 100

How much percentage is 1 out of 4
1 out of 4 is actually a quarter (1/4),
so its percentage would be a quarter of 100 : 1/4 x 100 = 25%
Hence 2167900/5284330 x 100 = 41.025% (simplified to 3 decimal places)
This simple formula comes in handy when you want to calculate discounts

Divide the 2..number by the 5..number, get your decimal answer and convert the quotient from a decimal to a fraction(the number of places to the right of the decimal-tens, hundreds, thousandths etc,which is the denominator, the numerator being the number in the quotient) and multiply the fraction by 100/1.Thats the percentage
I dont have a calculator handy to do the math but that's your answer.

simple division, multiply by 100.
