Yes! And now he is my husband!

Don't do it!!! All it will do is mess with your mind then you won't be able to focus on the people in your life who are real. You can't have a relationship with words on a screen and eventually you'll want more and you can't have it.

Most people on here are married or live all over the place....I'm sure it works out for some people but I think for most it just turns into an impossible thing that ends up hurting. Take my two cents for what it's worth and good luck.

Yes, I have. Instant Messaging someone is a good way to get an idea of a person's personality even if you've never met them in person in your entire life. I develop feelings for the people that IM me saying they are like me, and want to add me to their contact list. After having a few IM conversations, I will usually say yes to their request. I can get to know them despite the fact that I have absolutely no idea what they look like. At one time a couple years ago, I got a crush for one of my IM friends. She was so much like me, it was unbelievable .

Yes I have. There are a couple I really enjoy chatting w/and they have actually helped me out w/things. A personality comes out in chat. I am aware that there are fakes out there but if its just chatting on the net, so what. Some people just touch you.

yes, it's normal actually but I wouldn't recommend it.
however if you share many of the same interests and feelings and confide in one another, & you aren't hurting someone else (like you aren't in a relationship right now) then I see nothing wrong with it. be honest with each other and with yourself

absolutely! In many ways, you get to know that person better,
because its easier to write your feelings (in many cases) than
to say it face-to-face, so you end up sharing more information.

In fact, its very common. Emotional feelings are very deep,
so be careful. You can also get very hurt.
