What's this question getting at? Are Americans responsible for most of the pointless spam answers? Do they overload the board with silly questions? Narrow-mindedness? Or is it just spite?

America is like everywhere else, peopled by all sorts. When someone complained about the quality of American Television programmes seen here in Europe, an American made a very good point. He said that Europe takes its pick from the American shows. So, if they pick Ricky Lake etc. how can you blame the Americans for that? Seemingly there are very good American Television shows that aren't shown in Europe because our 'pickers' don't pick them. Stick to UK questions if you don't like the Americans!

Yes. Research indicates that Answers is solely responsible for a 24% decrease in America's Gross National Product because everyone is wasting their time glued to the computer screen - most of all ME!

I think they should turn off Answers altogether - and start again .with one which allows questions regarding Muslims/Islam - to be Answered without being Censored. Also an Adult version is desperately needed - there is too many under 18's on Answers - asking & answering Adult related subjects.

I'm an American and I'm sorry that your views on Americans has been skewed. If you think that ALL Americans are alike, then you are wrong. You are making a generalization that isn't fair to the rest of us that DO have a brain. I'm sure you've got some useless people over in your country. We all do.
