I do. I think that is hidden in the mythologies of old civilizations. I do not think mythologies were just imagination, but it was a simplified way to tell the science.
1) If you see in Hindu mythology, you can read about "Ahasa vimanam" which is equivalent(the way it is described) to present day planes and rockets.
2) In the same it is mentioned that there are three worlds i) Earth ii) a world where the monsters live iii) and a world where Gods live. These Gods and monsters from different worlds are said in the mythology as visiting earth now and then and people had contact with them. I believe that they were aliens who had contact with earthlings.
3) There is also mention of wars happening between the worlds in which they use weapons similar to missiles (the description is like one discharges an arrow from a place and it travels miles and meets the opponent's arrow in midway). I donot think this is pure imagination.
I have not read about other mythologies much, but I sure hope they might also have some mention like this and hoping to research them soon.

well there are some possible theories that life on earth was transfeered from somewhere else. NOT CREATED like some wierd alien praising religions say but transferred as a large majority and possibly all of the water found on earth arrived upon large vessels of ice bombarding out planet. it is possible within thoery that very very small alien life could have been preserved within this ice and bagan life here and that is a theory of how life began. potentually all life is, is the abily to use energy to change something. such as plants with photosynthesis. in theory if u had a rock which could use heat from the sun to change elements to its advantage it could be labeled as life.

Many people believe nonsense, including that. There is no convincing evidence that this has happened. Belief is accepting something as true without proof, so that should tell you something. To know, you must look at the evidence critically and objectively. If you do that, you realize the tales about ET's are too wild to be true. There are no other planets in our solar system that have life, and the distances to other stars that might have planets with life are insurmountable. I don't believe or disbelieve anything, for I insist uppon knowledge, not blind belief.

Many people believe this. There is no discernible evidence supporting or refuting whether it has happened, however. Anyone capable of such travel would be able to avoid leaving traces detected by morons such as us. That can be seen as too convenient an argument.
There exists a large number of holy rollers that reference divine right to habitation of this world to support the argument that extraterrestrial life in fact could not exist. They must have missed the landing cited in Ezekiel.

I believe so.
I actually feel we evolved from simple life that fell from space on a comet.
I also, think that when Mars was in the "life ring" around our sun that it too, had life on it.
Space is a big place. if someone visited, it may millions of years before they come this way again.
I also feel that Earth is way off the beaten path of the universe. We are just a small island of life in a large sea of nothing.
But rest assured, water is rare and we have it, someday someone will want it.

Ever since I read a book by Erich Von Daniken about how the humans evolved vis a vis the other animals, especially the gift of fire, I have believed that other life forms have been in touch.

Our technological advance was relatively snails pace until 150-200 years ago, and then in the 20th century BOOM! It literally took off!
I was tickled by the idea in Men in Black that aliens have been giving us our upgrades in tech. (idea probably borrowed from an original star trek episode) and it raises the question, are we being given pointers along the way by outside influences?
I'll let you know when I get back from Zog!

The only extra terrestrial to visit earth was Jesus. Evidence for any other form of alien life is purely speculative at best. I want solid empirical evidence not this raving nonsense of the possibility of visitation.

not me, in the sightings recorded aliens have supposably appeared to have 2 eyes 2 arms, 2 legs etc. if this were the case then this means the species would have to be from our world. i really don't beleive.
