MAC gets my vote. Clinique is more natural and nature-enhancing; MAC is sheer drama. You may want to take a picture of your gown with you so the stylist knows what will balance your look.
Go early, so if your make-up is overdone it can be toned down.
You may want to visit www.maccosmetics.com to choose a face you want to duplicate or vary to suit your homecoming vision.
Have fun!

If you want something more dramatic definitely go with MAC. I am a clinique girl 100% but I like much more sublte natural looking makeup for myself. But I know a lot of people who love MAC. If you don't want it too heavy just tell the girl that you want something that pops but not too over the top.

If your more on the conservative side let Clinique do it. If you want something flashy- MAC. MAC does really nice eye makeup. Two of my friends have done it with MAC- it looked good- you could always tell them not to over do it.

MAC is better and the people who work there are usually makeup artists that have some additional training, other than what is taught by MAC. Also, the color selection is wider in MAC.

I would say that of the two, Clinque. It's not as thick and it will last longer. Also try Lancome (how ever you spell it) I used them for my wedding and they were awesome!!! You should probably try out a few places before and find the make up artist you like the most. A good make up artist can make almost any kind of make up look good... a bad one can make you look like a clown! Have fun!!!

That is quiet the decision to make.
With your dress you're gonna have to go with something that compliments the style. Black and white=drama. You will have to go to M.A.C. and express to the girls that you don't want too much, you are going for subtle drama. If they are competent, then they should be able to hook you up nicely.
Cheers! And have fun at your homecoming!

MAC has very knowledgable sales people. They're patient, courteous and very good with picking out appropriate colors. I think MAC is a good way to go :)

If you have a local Body Shop, go in and get a make over, they have some wonderful sparkle coolours out this season and if you wet them the colour gets more intense.
Good luck hun
