Yes, all over. I live in North NJ & by the Water Gap there is a town called Paquary, that was abandoned because the state called for imminment domain & wanted to dam the Delaware. It would have flooded the whole area. The Tox Island project was abandoned & it is now a State Park. You can't go in them, but you can hike all around the abandoned houses, some look like people just walked away from them!

There are some Ghost Towns in Nevada and in California.You will have to contact the Chamber of Commerce for the locations

I'm sure there's lots of them. The town my family lived in (in New Mexico) when I was a very young child is now a ghost town. We still own a home there, but nobody lives there, it looks so lonely.

Lots of them. Drive cross country thru the smaller roads. You will see plenty.

Plenty. I can think of two in PA (Laruel Run & Centrallia) abandoned due to underground mine fires.
