its emotional, physical and spiritual.
Do you like sitting with your woman and caressing, cuddling and feeling like the world has stopped for the two of you at that moment?
While in the midst of physically having sex do you feel love or just the act itself gives you pleasure?
Can you be by yourself and think of the person you want to "make love" to and be at one of the most happiest of times?
I know that the answer to all three of these for me is yes. Therefore I find to be more than just physical aspects of making love (which by the way is so not sensible in saying) If you think about it you are not making love you are experiencing love. You have sex.

There were details of many ways recorded in the Kama Sutra, see the link below in Wikipedia. However you can have endless variations. Let me give it to you another way as a joke...
A famous sexologist was giving a talk on the ways to make love. He started by saying "there are 92 ways of performing the sexual act".
A little old man at the back called out "93!"
The speaker started again and said "there are 92 ways of performing the sexual act..."
Before he could could get out his next word the little old man yelled out "93!!"
Not to be outdone, the sexologist took a deep breath and without pause stated "there are 92 ways of performing the sexual act the first of which is where the woman lies on her back with the man lying on top".
With great glee, the little old man called out "94!!!!"

Depends on how you interpret it. To make love doesnt always mean the sex. To hold hands, comfort, getting to know one another, committing yourself to that person, and being there making that person feel special is making love. Does that make sense? Having trouble writing it out. I think the term to make love was the altimate thing to do in the bedroom and it meant to show how much you loved that person. The same goes for the every day stuff as well. Your making love by kissing her, or sending flowers, or going for a walk holding hands. Your making love by falling in love w/one another.

there are allot of ways you can make love without being physical, example sending flowers, having a romantic dinner, dancing, or just walking and holding hands.and laying together on the sofa watching a good movie.
