BLESS THIS HOUSE, LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR. I loved them, especially Love Thy Neighbour, but today its all about p c (political correctness), Who agrees that p c has gone too far, so ruins what can be made and really funny now.

back in the seventies shows like bless this house and love thy neighbour ( sambo and honky ) brill
couldn`t ever imagine Eddie and bill on today's television there would be riots in the streets

Tess PC has gone too far,but I dont think it will ever return to what it was,however,we can still see some of these sit-coms of the 70's and 80's on diital TV from time to time,love thy neighbour did go a bit far sometimes,but I remember a little while back when I saw the cast being interviewed,they seemed to take it in their stride,so continue to enjoy,when you can.

yes loved both Bless This House and Love Thy Neighbour, but preferred Bless cause i think Sid James was brilliant as Sid Abbott and Diane Copland great as Jean Abbott.
I think politically correctness has gone way to far now days you have to walk round on eggshells lest you offend one person, religion or minority, why do people have to be so bloody sensitive, learn to laugh at yourselves.Although some stuff from other comedy shows of the 70's could be seen as racist, sexist or homophobic, but things back then were different to what they are now

Sid James a not a geat actor but was brilliant at what he did, if that makes sense?
