I'm not sure that scented oil will do an awful lot, but you could try taking Lepicol or similar from your local health food shop which might help the condition.

If you need to destress lavender oil will help you relax and is lovely in the bath

It is not a scented oil, but it is doing a great job fighting my IBS and that is aloe vera juice. My doctor told me to drink it and it works well. The taste takes some getting used to.

dont do oil do buscapan or colpermin tablets instead, they relieve the actual spasms of the intestine, no oil will do that love, try them they work wonders , i should know i have had ibs since i was 18 i'm 31 now and rarely suffer. keep healthy.

You should probably be more concerned with ingesting something rather than smelling something. Ginger and peppermint work well.
