It is a general consensus among hardcore comic fans that, in terms of agility - speed of bodily movement NOT enhanced by mystical or mental time-manipulation powers (IE: Flash, Quiksilver, Superman, Silver Surfer) - that Spider-Man is the fastest of all superheroes. There are none faster.
Spider-Man has just as much experience as Batman - an impressive claim that few superbeings can make.
Spider-Man can lift around 20 tons. He can go punch for punch with automobiles (well, he doesn't have the toughness to withstand that, but you catch my drift). Batman might be able to lift a quarter of a ton - tops. Spider Man is literally 80 times stronger than Batman AND much faster. AND, while not formally trained, has enough real-world experience to compensate.
Batman would get SPLATTERED in a hand-to-hand fight. If they had to take each other on, Batman would realize this, and find some other smart way to take him on. He would not go toe-to-toe with Spiderman, for the same reason he wouldn't play "bloody knuckles" with Superman, or "Guess which number I'm thinking of" with Professor X.

Ok, just to add another point to Justanotherloser's excellent answer (Got my vote), Batman has suits that will avoid objects sticking to him, some kind of teflon coating. The webs would fall right off. You know that before travelling out of town, he always equips himself to handle all scenerios, which is why anytime he leaves Gotham, he carries that Kryptonite ring with him. When going to New York, he's going to make sure he can handle anyone there.
Then there's the fact that Spider-man, while a great fighter, has no real training in it, just instincts. It's served him very well, but Batman is a master in so many martial arts that despite Spidy's speed and strength, it would be hard for him to hang with Bats, especially when he goes for the nerve strikes. A couple of well placed shots, and half of Spidy's body would be useless. And keep in mind, Yooka, that Batman has a few villains in his rogues gallary that have the same kind of strength and speed that Spidy has, like Killr Croc. Actually, Croc is a bit slower, but I believe his strength surpasses Spider-man's.

A reasonable answer would be Spider-man.. and I will explain why. Batman (while cool and all) is just a gadget freak in an awesome costume. he is in excellent physical form but no stronger than a human being can be.
Spider-man however has somewhat above normal human strength and fires webs without use of external gadgets - climbs walls without use of external gadgets.
In a confrontation - Spider-man's "spidey senses" quick reflexes and webs would take down Batman at some point. But you said fist fights right? No gadgets, no webs - just man to man knuckle city!
Spider-man's superior strength and lightning reflexes would produce numerous lumps on Batman's cranium delivering a TKO in the 1st or 2nd round.

it is a habitual question around the following... it really is the answer I gave and were given acceptable answer with 2 months in the past Batman at the same time as Spiderman has the understand-how of a human sized spider % power etc. he's often untrained. Batman is smarter and bigger experienced then Spiderman. Batman has honed ideas and body to the point of human perfection. he's also specialist in distinct field that Spiderman hasn't ever had a danger or afflicted to study. Spider-experience, Agility and power can in reality take Spidey thus far. A repeating topic in Spider-guy comics is how the secret id has ruined Peter Parker's existence. in reality doubt. Batman ought to work out by this and use a attitude to amplify this. someone stated that Spidey's habit of demanding banter ought to distract Batman. Batman has distinct enemies that do an analogous aspect, and he's beat all of them. Its a non-situation. Batman ought to work out that his Batarangs and sneak attacks ought to also be of minimum result hostile to Spider-guy because of the mixture of Spidey experience and agility. Spidey's webbing must be of constrained use as well as a weapon. Batman has used matches and guns which could counter any reward Spidey ought to benefit from them. Translation: Sticky webbing won't be able to capture some thing it truly is too slick to carry on to. And such variations of the webbing like the impact webbing must be reduce by by making use of the batarangs and bat knives. Spidey doesnt have many gadgets that ought to help him hostile to Batman. Spider tracers, belt flash ordinary and cyber web shooters. Batman has fought Captain united states to a Standstill (their understand-how were too gently matched DC vs. ask your self) and Dodged a thrown weapon by making use of Bullseye who then stated "You hit more advantageous sturdy than Daredevil" even with what present day comics have achieved ... guns have in no way been Batman's aspect. undergo in ideas Batman is between the few those with or with out powers who has overwhelmed Superman. Spidey has steered clean of the Hulk. Its a case of Brains, adventure and ability as against actual ability. base line Batman wins because he's smarter, more advantageous experienced and bigger experienced than Spidey.

Spider-man would start out with the advantage, given his powers, but Batman has handled super strong guys before as well as those with special powers. Don't forget, he's taken down white martians, the Shaggy Man, Superman, and his tactics have taken out the entire JLA. And that's not even looking at his own Rogues gallery. He's constantly defeated Killer Croc, Man-Bat, Clayface and other mutated bad guys as well as psychos. He's also an expert in all martial arts, as well as smart enough to figure out an opponents weakness through battle. I bet Spider-man would begin by taunting and jumping around and using his webs, while Batman would find a way to neutralize his webbing, use his Spider sense against him, and finally take him out, all the while gritting his teeth and muttering something about so called "heroes" who aren't trained enough.
That said, I like Spider-man much more, but Batman would eventually win out......

Leaving out their agility, I'd have to say Spider Man has an edge, as he can lift up to ten tons and Batman only has human level strength. (I'd put Batman equal to Captain America, in that respect.) I think that Spider Man has also fought more super strong villains that Batman has. Batman could probably evade or deflect many of Spider Man's blows, studying his fighting style and evaluating his strengths and possible weaknesses, but I think that Batman would evenually have to resort to something from his Utility Belt.

If this is just a fist fight, no webs, no gadgets, it would be Batman. Did everyone forget at the martial arts training he has had. Batman rocks, he is able to compete with all other super hero's with out any superpowers, he just developed his own natural powers till they were amazing.

Everybody keeps talking about Batman being smarter . . . let's not forget that Peter Parker is a scientist! He's worked with the likes of Reed Richards and Tony Stark who are both smarter than Bats. So I say Spidey wins . . . strength in both mind and body! Not to mention that he has a sense of humor lol

It seems to me that although Batman has toys, Spiderman has speed and agility besides being brilliant, younger and better looking - you got to love that youthfulness. Due to both of them being "the good guys" this scenario would not likely occur therefore this question is somewhat redundant. Now if we were to let our imaginations run wild - in my humble opinion, Spiderman is the better imaginary hero!
