With Christmas coming up, any Christmas related item should sell well such as gingerbread man ornaments made from no-bake cinnamon applesauce clay and decorated with dimensional fabric paints. Here is a simple recipe...9 parts ground cinnamon,6 parts applesauce, 2 parts white glue and 1/2 part of a fragrant spice like ground cloves. Mix and knead all ingredients together until the dough is firm then let rest for 30 minutes. After that, roll out to 1/8" and cut out with gingerbread man shaped cookie cutter. Make a hole at the top with a straw and let them dry on wax paper for 5 days, turning carefully at least once a day to make them dry evenly. Once dry,use white dimensional fabric paint to "ice" them and other colors to add, eyes and mouth. Thread 1/8" ribbon through the holes for hangers. Print up little poems about the gingerbread man and a disclaimer stating the ornaments are not edible and make them into little folded hang tags on recycled-looking paper for a handmade look.

I've been making beaded bookmarks....very inexpensive and easy to do...floss, beads, charms is all you need besides the little plastic craft bags to seal them in. The bags are 99 cents per 100. Knot an end of the floss, slide on the beads and then knot the other end. Part of the beads are moved to each end and it gets laid in a book. You can make them in specific colors or whatever theme you like. I am doing Red Hat ones, football team colors, etc.
