I know what you mean. But not picking one is unfair to everybody - picking the "wrong" one is, at most, unfair to everyone except the one you pick.
Plus, if it goes to voting you have no control.
I always try to pick a best - never missed yet. If people make an effort to answer then I figure they deserve my at least giving it a shot.
I also try not to delete a question after people have posted answers, for the same reason.
I think Yahoo should let us split up the ten points sometimes - first place (5), second(3), third (2).

I've had that happen plenty of times...I wish I could give out a tie! Whatever you do, don't let it go to a vote - those never work right, people just click on the first answer to get the point.

Every single day I face a plethora of anwers I can't decide on as best. If I absolutely can't decide, I just put it up to a vote. You still get your 3 points eventually, and you can score a bonus point by voting on your own question.

was there last week, recieved 3 heart felt responces, all of them deserved it, but had to pick the one the seemed the most heart searching and renching, good luck to you

I had one like that. Most of the answers were similar. It was tough, but you gotta look at them closely, youll find one thats your fave.

Yes, but mine was because they were all so rude or ignorant (lack of knowledge). None of the answers were helpful in my situation.
