say sun is in moon's orbit - along with sun shrinked to the size of moon - but sun is still the source of energy/light

and moon is in the position of sun , as large as sun

And if there is not much change in size from earth's point of view.. how different would the world be?

hey dont you read the details?

the sun is shrinked to size of moon
and the moon is as large as sun
Implies moon prob can handle the gravity and rotation

Since the moon and sun have the same apparent size viewed from earth (in degrees), if the temperature of the sun's optical surface stayed the same, being smaller would precisely offset its closer distance, and the intensity of light from the sun on earth would be the same. The problem would be that the solar day would be 28 current days long. That means that it would get to hundreds of degrees on the day side and freeze to hundreds below zero at night - sort of like what the moon presently experiences, but not as bad because earth has an atmosphere to distribute the heat by wind. The wind would constantly blow at several hundred miles per hour due to thermal expansion of the air on the hot side. Other than that, it would be fine.

Solar eclipses would be impossible, since the Moon could no longer come between the Earth and Sun. Lunar eclipses would still be possible, since the Earth could still come between the Moon and Sun, but the Moon would not go through phases, it would always be full. But the much smaller Sun would have to be less bright and hot so it would not fry the Earth. As a result, it would not light up the other planets hardly at all. Even the new big Moon would be so far away that it would appear extremely dim in the sky. Probably we would not even be able to see the planets by the light of such a small, feeble Sun.

We'd be boiled alive. And all of the other planets would drastically shift their orbits or go flying off into space because the Moon doesn't have enough gravity for them to maintain their orbits.

And there would be a huge change in size from our point of view. The Sun is 93 million miles away, and the Moon is 260,000 miles away. So, if they switched, the Sun would appear more than 350 times larger, and the Moon 350 times smaller.

if the sun and the moon exchange their positions thenthen the earth would not survive because then this earth would be as cold as pluto.okay.......
bye........
