I'm curious to know why some of you who felt it was right to change your sex, who regret it, choose to do it in the first place. What drove you to removing the natural genital formation to be a female, when in the end, it's not what you really wanted?

sandy c-t - That's interesting but doesn't answer my question. there are plenty of Transexuals who go through everything you explained, and end up feeling it was a bad decision.

computerb... - Did you even read the question? Although I appreciate your long winded response, I alread know all of that. My question was simple, it was for transexuals who got sex changes and regretted and why. Thats it!

Next time, try understanding the question before throwing long documents on here that has nothing to do with anything I aksed.

And by the way, most people DO know their sexual orientation at early ages, they don't even have to think about it. Most are not confused about it, and so there is no reason for them to experiment to see what it is, or to understand their feelings. Only those few who are confused need to, and yes it's natural for those few to be confused.

Of those I've known, some aren't able to go the whole way and some who have were just as messed up as they were before, and some have said it was exactly what they needed. You will get the same kinds of range if you ask people about getting new nose shape or women getting a boob job from the plastic surgeon. The Harry Benjamin protocol is good, it gives those who must pass approval a full year or two to keep meeting with the person to say "Are you sure? Really sure?"

A sex-Change is not something you can do in a weekend. it's not like a getting a tattoo on a whim on a fun Saturday night. There are years of therapy: mental, physical, and hormonal, during which - at any point - you can quit. There are so many obstacles to go through that the person who makes it to the end will defiantly be the person who it was right for.

Transgendered everyone seems to be the way they are there intire life..... Then there's a marginally long piriod previously you will bypass by way of with a intercourse replace... years of hormone remedies... and a marginally long manditory waiting piriod. there is a number of of modifications to alter there concepts if that could be a sprint to plenty. purely realy regrets i've got ever hurd of is the reality there not incredibly the different gender and it seams to pretend or some thing like that.... There are some who're simpley gay and characteristic conviced themselfs over a time they are transgender yet thats quite uncommon/uncomon... and that they usaly determine this out previously dealing with with the operation from what i've got gathred.
