It is an arrangement by which the day-to-day administration of an organization, society, region or country is carried out by the leaders who have the mandate of the people (in a democracy) or by some folks who have assumed that responsibility by other means, with or without the consent of the people.
It is generally assumed that a government installed by the people themselves will benefit the people. However, the experience of many countries under democracy in the world have tended to make people modify their expectations. In practice, we have had so-called democratic governments, especially in developing countries, that are far worse than imposed regimes.
The trust of and respect for any government depend on whether it meets the hopes and aspirations of the majority of the people.

The Government.
Humm, it is a tough subject to talk of. In one aspect ppl don't like it. In another way they do.
I have to say I respect it because it is a part of our country. Yeah sure I don't like some things that the government does. It is slow here or not even in other places. The government is made up of ppl and ppl make mistakes. I understand that and as a christian I must forgive those mistakes.
So I say God Bless the Government,
they gave my husband a job.

A bunch of people who don't seem to live in the "real world" and who are determined to completely cripple this country some way or another. So far it looks like they are acheiving their goal. My overall definition.
