Why is it that we press the button harder on them when the batteries ar running out? MY daughter thought this would be a fun one to ask!!!

its weird huh, or when the batteries run out, we take them out the controller and rub them in the palm of our hands, in some weird hope there might be a little more energy in there......somewhere!!

Hahaha...Probably the same reason when we lose the remote we will search hours for it just to change the channel instead of using the buttons on the front of the t.v. :)

Because we don't want to get off our couch and go to the kitchen and get new batteries so maybe.... just maybe... if we push the buttons hard enough the stupid channel will change.

If batteries are running out be sure to swap them round or rub them, doesn't work but doesn't stop me doing it everytime!!

perhaps its similar to when we squeeze the toothpaste tube that much that its rolled up,we're trying to get the very last bit out.kind of like a sort of denial?

And don't forget we bang the back of the remote too! I do that one and i swear it works!!!

its like we sip more in the end of soft drink...we kiss passionately in the end of act...we shake the ball pen when it stop writing...so its human instinct to exploit everything...till the end.
