I got pregnant using KY... Ky of course is not any sort of BC method but there are lubes out there that claim to be extra helpful in the TTC battle. The babycenter website has lots of helpful hints on trying to concieve. And you can sign up for regular newsletters that will help also. Check with your doctor about the lube situation he/she may be able to prescribe something to help you in your TTC effort or may have some other suggestions good LUCK!

lube doesn't protect you from getting pregnant you still can get pregnant. The only was you can't get pregnant is 1. condom 2. Not having sex The pullin and prayin stuff doesn't work ,because a man pre-cums all through sex and has no controll over that. And yes my mother in law got pregnant with my husband when she was using lube. The lube didn't increase her chanes or anything but no using protectin did. There are comdoms and lubes with spermacide in them to help kill the sperm when the man gets off but they are not 100% nothing is 100% but not having sex is. My mother ib law got pregnant with my bro in law while on the pill and using a condom. The doctor told her things like this can happen, and my bro in law is living proof

Well some of these people cant read and understand your question..I did not concieve using KY and in the book Taking Control of your Fertility it says that in TTC you should only use PreSeed if anything...even spit can kill and/or restrict the motility of sperm

confident, classic lubricants can decrease your odds of being pregnant. they do no longer look to be designed to help sperm swim via to the cervix, nor are they the superb pH to help sperm thrive. on a similar time because it continues to be achievable for them to realize this, why make issues greater durable for the swimmers than it ought to be? that's greater effective to apply something designed for helping concept, or in simple terms your organic lubricants. Preseed is the famous person, yet there are different, smaller manufacturers accessible. do no longer use saliva or water, the two, nor oil-based lubricants. stable luck!

Yes, my ob/gyn actually recommended KY or any water-based lubricant - the only time it would be a problem is if your husband has sperm motility issues.
