Well, it has been a wild season for those Tigers. With only about 2 weeks left in the regular season....who thinks that the Detroit Tigers will win the AL Central? I think the Tigers can & will win their divison....first of all, becasue I am a Tiger fan (always have been, even during their terrible seasons in the past), and another reason is that their schedule is not as nearly tough as what the Twins or the White Sox have left. I think that the Twins will pull off the wildcard spot, and Detroit will get the divison title.
Now, with the playoffs......I'm not saying anything yet....I'm just happen to see the Tigers in the post-season for the first time since the late 80's! Expect another Tiger question when the playoffs begin.

I would rather tthey win the Division.
With 9 games left to play, any combonation of whinny sux losses or Tiger wins equally 4 and The Tigers get a playoff spot.
1987 was the last time The Tigers won the division (East, back then) and The Twins beat them in The ALCS.
Either way The Tigers do make the playoffs.
The way I'd love for it to go down is we play the A's in the first round, and then meet The Twins for The ALCS.
It has been a very exciting season for Tiger fans everywhere. No one even thought they would be this deep in the pennant race this far into the season.
After losing 91 games last year, 90 games the year before, and 119 in 2003 it is truly wonderful to see them actually WINNING 90 games!
How far we go into the playoffs will depend on Bonderman, Verlander, Robertson, and Rodgers.
I think we could "squeeze" by (just like the whinny sux did last year).

Just don`t think the tigers have the players and the will to do any damage in the playoffs. Now i am also a big fan like you our. But i am worried about the pitching there are days that they are unbelieveable and other days that well they make sport headlines in the back of the paper.
We will see i hope i am dead wrong and they can go far in the playoffs.

They don't ahve the offense to go anywhere in the playoffs. Plus Mags is a complete washout in the clutch or post season. He needs to cut his hair, he looks like a women's tennis player.
