No ninjas are supposed to be quite anyway so he would fall gracefully without any sound.

Well the ninja would hear himself falling, and as it's impossible for anything to fall to the ground without a sound it WOULD make a sound, both from a philisophical and a scientific point of view.

Natrually it does, just because no one was there to hear it doesn't mean it didn't make a noise, I'm sure the creature of the forest heard it, problem there is they can't speak to tell you they did. :)

if you are in the forest when that happened, yes it did make a sound. Otherwise, it didn't.
